BIS014 BIS014 is a synthetic disaccharide obtained as a result of Bioiberica’s research in new pharmaceutical entities combining potent anti-inflammatory efficacy and collagen protection in cartilage and tendons. BIS014 could be used for the treatment of soft tissue injuries caused by sport practice and osteoarthritis (OA).
BIS014 has been shown to exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-catabolic activities in different models of inflammation and oxidative stress: osteoarthritis and tendinopathies. Moreover, it has been shown to exhibit neuroprotective activity in models of neurodegeneration.
